I don't normally do stuff like this, but I've been talking with the person who runs EQI.org, and he's really cool. He needs some people to help him help other people though... From his website: The EQI.org webite is looking for young atheists, agnostics and writers to be part of its Learn, Work, Write, and Travel (LWWT) Internship/ work experience. The LWWT opportunity is based on the information and ideas presented on the EQI.org website. If you agree with what you see on EQI.org and on School-Survival.net you could be the right person.

16-year-old finds way to make plastic decompose faster

Getting ordinary plastic bags to rot away like banana peels would be an environmental dream come true. After all, we produce 500 billion a year worldwide and they take up to 1,000 years to decompose. They take up space in landfills, litter our streets and parks, pollute the oceans and kill the animals that eat them. Now a Waterloo teenager has found a way to make plastic bags degrade faster -- in three months, he figures.

Youth is not a fucking test!

There's a lot of things that contribute to the problems of youth, but one of the worst things is the delusion that your youth is a test, a training period for the real world. You aren't in training for life, you're living life! So celebrate youth, and forget the fucking delusion that it's nothing more than preparation for the future. Youth is meaningful, your daily life is just as meaningful as an adult's.
